Kasam: Smriti Khanna to enter show; Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi actress to create havoc in Rishi-Tanu's life

The viewers of popular television show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki recently witnessed a major twist in the storyline, with the exit of Shivani Tomar aka Tanuja and the comeback of Kratika Dheer.

With Kratika's return, the makers are gearing up to cash in on the popularity enjoyed by Ssharad Malhotra aka Rishi and Kratika, by including an interesting twist in the lead pair's love life.

According to the latest report, Smriti Khanna, who rose to popularity with Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, will enter the show in the upcoming episodes. Smriti's entry in Rishi's life will result in a love triangle between Rishi, Tanu and Smriti's character, Ruchika. Further, Ruchika will play an antagonist and create havoc in Rishi-Tanu's life.

Confirming her entry in Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, Smriti told Tellychakkar.com: "Smriti's character Ruchika will come in as Rishi's saviour, when he will be about to end his life. The girl, though married will fall for Rishi and will want to have him in her life."

Kratika and Ssharad's on-screen chemistry has been loved by millions of viewers ever since the show went on air. However, after Shivani replaced Kratika, the chemistry between her and Rishi failed to make it to the hearts of the viewers, resulting in a drop in its ratings. This eventually forced the makers of Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki to bring Kratika back on the show.

Meanwhile, rumours had it that Ssharad was apparently unhappy with the exit of Shivani. Although the talented actor was happy to work with Kratika again, he believed that Shivani had put in a lot of hard work and was not to be blamed for the dropping TRPs.
