The teaser of Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamanna Bhatia starrer "Thozha" and its Telugu version "Oopiri" was released Saturday, Feb.20. It is a 50-second video, which gives a brief introduction about the lead actors in the film.
The teaser has rich visuals and Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamanna Bhatia are part of the video-clip. Without giving away anything about the storyline, it manages to generate curiosity around the film.
Both the video-clips have been received well by the audience. People are pointing out the good looks of all the three actors in "Thozha" teaser" and appreciating the work of cinematographer PS Vinod. The fans are trending topics about the film on social media sites with multiple hash tags.
"Thozha" is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Ali and others are in the cast. Anushka Shetty, Shriya Saran, Adivi Sesh and a few other celebrities have done guest appearances in the bilingual flick, simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu languages.
The movie tells the story of a quadriplegic millionaire and an emotionally challenged person. While Nagarjuna plays the role of a physically challenged man, Karthi plays his caretaker in "Thozha." It is said to be the remake of French movie "The Intouchables."
The shooting of "Thozha" has been completed and the post-production work is going on at a brisk pace. The makers plan to release the audio on Feb.28 and the movie on March 25.
