Rihanna and Karim Benzema have been in the "rumoured couple" category for quite some time now. And latest reports suggest that the Real Madrid footballer and the singer could well be an item as Karim meets Riri's family.
The soccer star and the "Diamonds" singer have been spotted on various occasions and "suspected dates" several times over the past few months.
The two of them were most recently seen having dinner together at Santa Monica last week; a few days before that, they were spotted cozying up to each other at a Fetty Wap performance.
A few weeks ago, the rumoured couple grabbed attention when they were seen together having an early morning breakfast date in New York, dining at Coppelia, partying at The Griffin nightclub in the Meatpacking District and Hooray Henry's in Los Angeles.
After all these outings that Rihanna and Karim have had together, it's not surprising that reports of them taking their relationship to the next level have sprung up.
According to OK! Magazine (via Life & Style), Riri and Benzema were present at the singer's family get-together in LA and an insider revealed that the "American Oxygen" singer and the footballer along with his friends checked into the Andaz and Mondrian hotels in West Hollywood and enjoyed a laid-back week together.
"Rihanna didn't waste any time introducing Karim to her nearest and dearest. She flew Karim and some of his soccer teammates to LA and then flew her family form Barbados for a big gathering," a source said.
"They had a blast just relaxing and partying together with everyone," the source added.
Benzema and RiRi first met at FIFA 2014; the two stars were romantically linked when Riri tweeted her sympathies to Benzema when France was knocked out of the tournament. But the couple's breakfast date with friends on 2 June sparked rumours that the two may be more than just friends.
Though various reports also suggest that it could just be professional link as the singer is apparently helping the footballer with his new music project, the possibility of a romantic angle cannot be ruled out.
Well, we will have to wait to hear about the status of this relationship from Rihanna and Karim Benzema themselves.
