Bollywood stars are in a race to enter the famous wax museum at Madam Tussauds in London and the latest buzz is that the leggy damsel of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor will join them soon.
According to a report on Bollywood Hungama, Kareena Kapoor finalized her Chameli look for her wax statue at the Madam Tussauds wax works.
"Chameli", a December 2003 Hindi film, in which Kareena play the role of a prostitute Chameli, the film was directed by Sudhir Mishra and produced by Pritish Nandy communication.
According to the report, various looks were discussed for her statue, however, the maximum number of votes went to Kareena's look in her film Chameli, for which she won many awards.
Besides, the museum wanted her wax statue to appear in Indian wear. Hence, her "Chameli" look was finalized.
Kareena's look in the film was designed by Manish Malhotra and executive producer Rangita Nandy, who scoured the streets of Mumbai to get the look of a sex worker down pat. With this, we guess Manish's work will last forever alongside Kareena.

The museum was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud and has become a major tourist destination. She was born in 1761 in Strasbourg, France. She learnt the art of wax modeling from Philippe Curtius, a physician. The first wax model that she created was of Voltaire, in 1777.
