Kareena Kapoor Khan and husband Saif Ali Khan are reportedly expecting their first child. Although the couple hasn't come forward to confirm the news, Kareena's father Randhir Kapoor hopes that the rumours are true.
Kareena and Saif have recently returned from their London vacation and according to reports, the actress is three-and-a-half-months pregnant. However, Bebo's father Randhir has no idea about her rumoured pregnancy.
"Well, they haven't told me yet, so I have no clue, but I hope it's true. It's high time that they had a baby," Randhir told DNA when asked about the buzz around Kareena's pregnancy. Some reports suggested that the actress has been getting a lot of movie offers but has refused to sign any of them. Kareena has just one upcoming movie, "Udta Punjab," in her kitty as of now.
Rumours of Kareena expecting a baby started after she was spotted at a pre-natal baby clinic in London recently. Her arrival from London in a loose-fitting dress further hinted that Kareena was trying to hide her baby bump, according to the DNA report.
Earlier, Kareena had talked about having children and said that she would not have a baby until she is ready for it. "Not right now. I am not ready. And you know me, until I am ready, I won't do anything. Two years from now, I will be a mom," she had told DNA in an interview last year.
When asked about having a baby at an older age, Kareena had said, "Arrey, women have children at 40. I have a long way to go. I will definitely have my own children. I have always done what I wanted to. I wanted to be a star-actor, then I wanted to get married, have a home. I will be a mother and I will continue to act."
