Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan recently announced that they are expecting their first baby in December. The new update on the news may just add to the excitement.
The couple is all set to become parents to a baby boy, BollywoodLife reported. Indian healthcare system doesn't allow sex determination tests, which is why Saif and Kareena apparently got it done while vacationing in the United Kingdom.
The news of Kareena's pregnancy spread like wild fire and what followed was truckloads of speculations. There was a strong buzz that she would walk out of "Veera Di Wedding." Producer Rhea Kapoor denied the rumours saying Kareena is every bit the part of the film.
"Bebo is a thorough professional and she will start shoot of the film in August. Much like the spirit of our film, which celebrates the modern girl, Kareena is going on with her work and life as usual. We are proud to have her (in the film)," Press Trust of India quoted Rhea as saying.
It was earlier reported that Kareena has landed a role in Rohit Shetty's "Golmaal 4," but there's not apparently much truth to the information. Sources told the agency that she will only work in Rhea's film until October and do a string of commercials during the period.
Saif has two kids — Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan — from his first marriage with yesteryear actress Amrita Singh.
Saif's statement on Kareena's pregnancy: "My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience."
