Bangalore based smartphone maker Karbonn Mobiles on Monday launched a budget Android based phablet called A25.
Karbonn A25 sports a 5.0-inch TFT LCD WVGA display with 800x480p resolution and it runs on Android mobile OS v4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. It packs 512MB and 512MB ROM with options of expanding up to 32GB via microSD card.
Other specifications of the new phablet include a 5.0-megapixel camera with flash support and a VGA camera at the front. And only drawback is that the smartphones does not support 3G network.
Karbonn A25 is now available at e-retailers Infibeam and Saholic for ₹6,590.
Considering the specs and price, Karbonn A25 will pose a stiff challenge to Micromax Viva A72 and other domestic rivals.
