The home grown telecommunication firm Karbonn officially launched its new Android smartphone series dubbed as A11, A7+ and A1+ along with the Karbonn Smart Tab 3 (Blade) and Karbonn Smart Marvel (Marvel) on Friday.

"After creating an unprecedented buzz in the network device market by bringing in technologically advanced and feature rich product range for the masses with a vision to Massify Technology, we at Karbonn Mobiles intend to engage the audience with our latest offering under the eco-system 'Karbonn Smart. We wish to offer our consumers, technologically advanced networked devices encapsulating an avant-garde gamut of tablets and smartphone range, "said Shashin Devsare, Executive Director at the launch event as quoted by GizBot.

Smart Tab 9 (Marvel) and Karbonn Smart Tab 3 (Blade) run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and are powered by a 1.2 GHz processor. Karbonn Marvel is powered by a battery of 4,000mAh and comes with a 9-inch capacitive touch screen priced at ₹ 5,990 . It also boasts of a 1.3MegaPixel front camera and connectivity features like 3D gravity sensor, WIFI and 3G support via USB dongle. 

Karbonn Smart Tab 3 comes with a 7.1-inch capacitive touchscreen and packs a battery of 2,600mAh. It also supports the connectivity features like 3D gravity sensor, WIFI and 3G support and hosts the same camera of Marvel. Both the Karbonn Smart Tablets come preloaded with Karbonn Smart Browser and Karbonn Smart games apps. Smart Tab 3 is priced higher than the Marvel.

A11, A7+ and A1+ Android Smartphones Specifications

Karbonn A11 is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby Android Smartphone powered by 1 GHz Processor. It packs 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1500 mAh battery. It has a 5MegaPixel Auto Focus Camera with LED flash and 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera. All the three smartphones come with 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS connectivity.

Karbonn A7+ comes with a 3.5-inch screen and packs the same features of A11 besides running on Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) OS. It is powered by a 1420 mAh battery. Like A7+ Karbonn A1+ comes with the same screen and runs on the same OS platform. The latter is powered by a 1500 mAh battery. The three Android smartphones the Karbonn A11, A7+ and A1+ are priced at ₹ 9,990, ₹8, 990 and ₹ 4, 990 respectively.
