MTV is all set for its second edition of the Karbonn Smart MTV Bloc Party, which will be held in Mumbai on Saturday, 11 April and Sunday, 12 April.
To make the two-day long party more exciting, MTV has roped in 30 of the world's biggest DJs.
Popular DJ and VJ Nikhil Chinapa will be hosting the show that will feature a huge team of Electronic Dance Music (EDM) musicians.
"It's fantastic to be part of the second edition of MTV's Bloc Party. We've got some great talent being showcased and, having one wristband that gets you into all venues means you'll have an amazing choice of artists and sounds to choose from over two days and nights," Chinapa to IANS.
"I'm looking forward to playing on Sunday as well. And, of course, having a ton of fun with the CO2 gun," he added.
The party will feature performances by Doctor P, Rewire & Varski, Nucleya, Reggae Rajahs, Lost Stories, Ash Roy, Calm Chor, Ankytrixx, Nawed Khan, Su Real, Ez Riser and Sickflip, among others.
"It's a pleasure to be invited to be part of the MTV Bloc Party to slam the desi bass outdoors by Juhu beach," said DJ Su Real.
"From what I've heard, it promises to be something we haven't yet experienced too much in India and should be an unforgettable weekend of good music and good friends," Real added.
DJ Nawed has created an exclusive song for the Bloc Party and excited to play it out.
The buzz surrounding the musical event is going viral on social networking sites with the hastag #MTVBlocParty.
