Bangalore based smartphone maker Karbonn Mobiles on Tuesday released an affordable Android smartphone called A50 in the Indian market.
Online shopping site Saholic has listed the Karbonn A50 for ₹3,999. The website offers cash-on-delivery payment options and also mentions that the device will be shipped within three business days.
Karbonn A50 sports a 3.5-inch TFT HVGA capacitive screen with 480x320p display. Like all budget smartphones, it runs on the old generation Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS powered by a single-core processor with 1GHz.
The smartphone ships with 256MB RAM, 512MB inbuilt memory which can be further expanded to 32GB through microSD card. It houses a 3.0-megapixel camera with flash support on the rear side.
Karbonn A50 will compete with Micromax Bolt A27, Videocon A15, iBall Andi3.5KKe, Samsung Champ Deluxe Duos and its very own siblings - Karbonn A1+, Smart A2+, A3+ and A4.
