Home-grown smartphone maker Karbonn has released yet another smartphone dubbed A25+ in India.
Karbonn A25+, a handset which is believed to be the successor to Karbonn A25, is available for purchase in the country through the online retailer Snapdeal .Although the company is yet to announce the official launch of the A25+ in the country, the e-retailer has listed the smartphone for ₹6,000. According to the website the handset will be dispatched in two business days.
The handset sports 5-inch display with FWVGA (480x854 pixels) resolution and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor along with 12MB of RAM. It houses 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable by upto 32 GB via microSD card.
It supports connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, and GPRS. As of now there is no word on the presence of 3G connectivity. The phone comes loaded with 1800 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box OS. Currently, the online retailer sells black and white variants of A25+.
Recently, Karbonn launched Titanium S1 Plus with a price tag of ₹5,749. It is a dual SIM smartphone and comes with 4-inch display with a WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera and 1500mAh battery.
In March, Karbonn Mobiles announced three Titanium series smartphones - Hexa, Octane and Octane Plus. The Titanium Hexa, the first local smartphone to boast six-core based CPU sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080p) screen, 2GB RAM, 13.0-megapixel main camera, 5.0-megapixel front camera and standard connectivity features like Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS for navigation.
On the other hand, Titanium Octane and Octane Plus are powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek-based MT6592 chipset couple with 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt storage and a 2000 mAh battery. Other features of the smartphones remain the same.
