Karan Johar hosted a quick chat with "Bombay Velvet" cast – Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma – and director Anurag Kashyap, recently.
Hungover from the "Koffee with Karan" sessions, the filmmaker-turned-actor prodded the lead pair into letting out deep-seated secrets. While Anushka spoke about her equation with Virat Kohli, RK compared his life with American reality TV series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".
He stressed on the fact how his relationship with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone had become the spotlight of his life when he first spoke about it, but today he doesn't feel the need to clarify aspects from his personal life as it would mean giving people more fodder for gossip.
However, in a recently published interview he informed that he would be tying the knot with girlfriend Katrina Kaif in 2016.
"This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won't be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that," The Indian Express quoted the Kapoor scion as saying. He further elaborated that they both want a family, and are now sure of their relationship.
"I am 33 now and its time I have my family. Even Katrina wants that. I have grown up in a family where film is everything. So I know the importance of gossip and my funda is simple. When there is gossip, try not to react and it is advisable not to think too much about yourself," he added.
In the chat, he also spoke of how he wasn't the first choice for director Anurag and that the latter had asked for a few days time to picture the young star as Johnny Balraj.
