Of late, reports have been doing the rounds that television heartthrob Barun Sobti and Surbhi Jyoti will be playing the lead pair on an untitled web-series produced by "Qubool Hai" producer Gul Khan.
While the news has already raised the excitement level among the fans of the actors, latest reports hint that popular actor Karan Wahi has been roped in to play an important role on the web series. The report further said that Karan has already done a photo shoot to promote the series. The actor also shared a picture with Surbhi on Instagram.
However, Karan chose to keep mum on the report. "I am not allowed to speak anything about the project right now," Karan told India Forums.
While Karan refused to comment, Surbhi had earlier told India Forums that the web series is in its initial stage and that both she and Barun had a photo shoot to promote the show. "Yes, I am doing a web-series with Barun but nothing is finalised yet. We have shot a photo-shoot for the same, but things are not yet confirmed," Surbhi had said.
Meanwhile, Surbhi, who played the lead role in "Qubool Hai," recently wrapped up shoot while the "Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon" actor is busy with his finite series tentatively titled "Satya Ki Kiran." Produced by BBC, the thriller show will see Barun playing the role of a cop named Satya.
In other news, Karan made headlines recently when rumours of his ugly spat with Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel at the Box Cricket League (BCL) Punjab surfaced. Apparently, Ameesha, who is the owner of Team Royal Patialvi abused Karan of Ambersariye Hawks team. However, Karan refuted the rumours saying, "I don't know from where these stories crop up."
