"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Raman aka Karan Patel and his fiancée Ankita Bhargava are all set for their grand wedding on 3 May.

And before taking the plunge, the soon-to-be-married couple has arranged pre-wedding bashes for their close friends.

While recently, Ankita celebrated her Bachelorette party, the duo on 30 April hosted a cocktail party for their close friends from the Telly town.

The bash was attended by Karan's "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" co-stars Divyanka Tripathi and Anita Hassanandani. Divyanka arrived on the venue dressed in black-and-white, while Anita too wore a similar colour combination outfit.

Others who attended the party include Aly Goni, Nivedita Basu, Suyyash Rai, Kishwer Merchantt, Sana Khan, Kanchi Kaul, Shabir Ahluwalia, Rithvik Dhanjani, Raj Singh Arora, Sangram Singh, Pooja Gaur and Mihika Verma.

Karan and Ankita got engaged in a private ceremony in March this year, however, the pre-wedding ceremonies are said to be a lavish affair, which include sangeet, mehendi, and pheras, followed by a grand reception.

Ankita had earlier revealed that the wedding will be a filmy affair. "Yes, we will have a filmy wedding. I belong to Delhi and lived in a joint family till I came to Mumbai. I have always enjoyed this whole joint family setup and am happy that Karan has a big family," the bride-to-be told The Times of India.

Karan has been working round-the-clock with his shows "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and "Nach Baliye 7", so as to get a few days off during his D-day.
