"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actor Raman aka Karan Patel and his fiancé Ankita Bhargava are gearing up for their grand wedding on 3 May.
While everyone is eagerly waiting for the D-day, it has now been learnt that the Sangeet ceremony will take place on 1 May.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, Karan and Ankita are expected to entertain guests with a performance in the ceremony, which is likely to take place at Karan's residence.
Further, the cast of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is likely to set the stage on fire with their performances at the couple's sangeet ceremony.
While the couple got engaged at a hush-hush roka ceremony in Mumbai on 14 March, the pre-wedding ceremonies will be a lavish one that includes sangeet, Mehendi and pheras followed by a grand reception.
"Yes, we will have a filmy wedding. I belong to Delhi and lived in a joint family till I came to Mumbai. I have always enjoyed this whole joint family setup and am happy that Karan has a big family," Ankita said, according to The Times of India.
Currently, Karan is busy with his shoots for "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" and Channel V's crime show, "Gumrah". He has also been roped in to host "Nach Baliye season 7".
With such tight schedule, the actor is reportedly unable to look after all the wedding arrangements, and hence Ankita has taken up the responsiblity and is ensuring a smooth function.
Last month, Karan shocked his fans when he confirmed his wedding to Ankita. The wedding reports created a lot of controversies as the actor was rumoured to be in a serious relationship with Kamya Punjabi, before meeting Ankita.
