Filmmaker Karan Johar became a proud parent on this day last year. His twins – Yash and Roohi – has turned one on February 7.
Karan is throwing a birthday bash for his munchkins. He told DNA, "It's a small birthday party at home, with just kids their age. I want to keep it simple and intimate this year."
It will be attended by the little ones of Bollywood. Misha, Taimur, Laksshya and other star kids will attend the party.
"Karan has already spoken to his friends and invited them and their tiny tots to the party at his home. So there will be Taimur Ali Khan, Adira Chopra, Misha Kapoor, Laksshya Kapoor and some other B-Town kids," a source told DNA.
This will be the first time when Kareena Kapoor Khan's son and Shahid Kapoor's daughter will come together for an event.
Roohi and Yash came to Karan Johar's life through surrogacy. Last year, in one of the chat shows, Karan expressed his emotions when he held his babies for the first time.
"When I held them for the first time, I don't think I can describe the feeling. I cannot explain what I felt. I just sat in the chair and held my daughter first, as she is a little more vulnerable medically. I didn't even realize there were tears rolling down my face. That feeling cannot be replaced by any other emotion," Karan had said.
On their first birthday, KJo took to Instagram to wish his munchkins. He shared a picture of the two and wrote: "I can't thank the universe enough for giving my mother and me the most beautiful gift ever....Happy Birthday Roohi and Yash....you are a blessing to us❤️"
