Karan Johar's upcoming movie "Shuddhi" is one project which has been getting delayed for various reasons, and it appears that the film will be held up for some more time.
Although, the cast of "Shuddhi" has been finalised after a lot of speculations, it has been reported that Karan Johar will start shooting for the film only after he wraps up "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".
A lot of changes have reportedly been made to the script of "Shuddhi", owing to the changing cast, and director Karan Malhotra is currently waiting to narrate the story to producer Karan Johar, who is busy with the shooting of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil".
"Karan has penned a story with his wife but Karan Johar will sit for a narration only after he is done with 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. Till then, Karan Malhotra will develop the script," Box Office India quoted a source as saying.
Initially, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were supposed to be the lead of the movie but later, it was announced that Salman Khan had been roped in for the project.
However, Karan Johar then announced the names of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt as the lead actors.
Apart from Karan Johar's hectic schedule for "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", the report also said that another reason for the delay in "Shuddhi" was Varun and Alia's prior committed projects.
Meanwhile, Karan Johar has recently wrapped up the first schedule of "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" starring Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma.
The film-maker will reportedly commence the second schedule of the film by the end of November in the exotic locales of London.
