The team of Anurag Kashyap's "Bombay Velvet", starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar, are on a promotional spree.
And recently, the team opted for the newly launched digital platform, Hot Star, to connect to millions of cinephiles via mobile phones.
"Bombay Velvet Club", an exclusive show hosted by Karan, is available on Hot Star from 9 May. The show is quite similar to Karan's popular chat show, "Koffee With Karan", with similar segments.
The one-hour-long episode of "Bombay Velvet Club" saw the director-producer quizzing Ranbir, Anushka and Anurag. The team were involved in a lot of entertainment and gossips, while they also spoke about their experience in working together in a film.
The episode also saw Ranbir (who hasn't yet confessed his relationship with Katrina Kaif) and Anushka (who is quite open about her dating Virat Kohli) revealing more about their love life.
Another interesting segment in Karan's show was the rapid fire round where the stars, much like "Koffee With Karan", revealed some hidden secrets about each other and their personalities.
The team had a hilarious conversation when witty Karan spoke about how his ego of being a renowned filmmaker and producer received a battering when he first visited the sets of "Bombay Velvet".
The filmmaker-producer, who is making his acting debut in the film, reveals how he initially felt that his presence on the sets will be quite exciting for others, only to realise that nobody was bothered about him and instead all focuses were on director Anurag.
"Bombay Velvet", produced jointly by Fox Star Studios, Vikas Bahl and Vikramaditya Motwane, is slated to hit theatres on 15 May.
