Filmmaker Karan Johar's birthday party is making quite some noise over his celebrity guests.
The director turned 42 on 25 May and as usual threw a lavish party, which was attended by who's who of the showbiz industry. Until now, the event was in news for Shah Rukh Khan's prsesnce in it. But now reports have hinted at another controversy with respect to actor Bobby Deol, who was one of the celebrity guests at the bash.
According to a Times of India report, the "Yamla Pagla Deewana" actor was reportedly slapped by a security guard at the venue. The report states that Deol, who was presumably in an inebriated state, had an altercation with the guard as the actor ordered him to get more drinks.
The argument went beyond control and the furious guard is said to have slapped the actor. The incident left Deol quite embarrassed and he is said to have left the party immediately.
But the controversial report has now been refuted by Johar, who called it ridiculous and false, via his Twitter handle.
Ridiculously Untrue Reportage about Bobby Deol at my party....he had a fun time as did all of us and NONE of what is written is true!!!

A similar slap gate incident was seen some time ago when Shah Rukh Khan had allegedly slapped editor and director Shirish Kunder, who is incidentally SRK's dear friend Farah Khan's husband. Kunder's comment about "Ra One" being an epic dud had apparently led the superstar to lose his cool. The incident had created quite a buzz, after which the friendship between Farah and Shah Rukh soured. However, the two eventually patched up and are presently working together in the upcoming film "Happy New Year."
Meanwhile, Johar's party witnessed another incident as Shah Rukh, who sneaked quietly into the party, indirectly mocked fellow actor Hrithik Roshan when the latter asked him for a cigarette.
The superstar is said to have asked Roshan to perform his characteristic romantic open arm posture. Meanwhile, the "Krrish 3" actor, retaliated asking the superstar to copy his trademark dance move from "Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai", reported Mumbai Mirror.
While the situation did not create any tension and was rather looked at as friendly banter, it surely left the onlookers pretty amused.
SRK was further caught joking at the party with Vidya Balan and husband Siddharth Roy Kapur over the same initials 'SRK', that Kapur and the superstar share.
