The makers of "Kapoor and Sons" have released the first song of the film, which stars Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Fawad Khan. Released a few days ago, the trailer of the film has garnered immense appreciation from all quarters.
In the song "Kar Gayi Chull," Sidharth and Alia are seen dancing non-stop at a party. The peppy dance number is set to become one of this year's biggest party songs. Sung by Badshah and recreated by Amaal Mallik, the song shows Alia and Sid partying like college students and dancing their heart out.
Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is set to hit the theatres on March 18. It is a Punjabi family drama that also features Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajat Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. Rishi, who is referred to as "Dadu" (grandfather) in the movie, has captured hearts with his quirky and unrecognisable look.
"Kapoor and Sons" is a love triangle, but it has not been revealed who will become a couple in the end. Bhatt's character is seen kissing both Rahul (Fawad) and Arjun (Sidharth), and the brothers are shown in the trailer to be deeply in love with her.
The film brings Alia and Sidharth together on the big screen for a second time after KJo's "Student of the Year." The chemistry between the "Shaandaar" actress and Fawad also looks interesting.
