Fawad Khan, when not delivering blockbuster performances, enjoys partying. He jokingly compared Karan Johar's Mumbai house to Hugh Hefner's Playboy mansion.
In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, the Pakistan-based actor said the only party he ever goes to is Dharma Production boss Karan's.
"I wouldn't know if they are the wildest Bollywood parties but you could definitely describe Karan Johar's house as Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion in Mumbai! But I wouldn't know what to compare it with because I haven't been invited to any other parties. Nobody calls me," he quipped.
It's not all fun and games for the actor, who will take up Urdu pop singer Alamgir's ("Albela Rahi") biopic next after finishing a U.S. musical tour for charity. At present, he is in Rajasthan shooting for a song for "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.
Fawad has confirmed his upcoming projects and yet rumours are rife that he may feature in Karan's next with Deepika Padukone. "Battle Of Bittora" is another film he has been loosely associated with; it may star Sonam Kapoor.
He's not in a rush to sign films, which could be because he misses home while shooting in India. "The only downslide about working in India is that I am away from my son (Ayaan) and wife (Sadaf)," he sighed.
Talking about his TV show "Humsafar" co-star Mahira Khan, who is making her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan's "Raees," he said they both have been busy and running tight schedules. "We did meet once last year in Mumbai. But our schedules are tight now. She's a busy person shooting a big film. Badi star ke paas, hum jaise chhote logon ke liye time nahin hoga," he said in a jest.
