Kapil Sharma's nagging onscreen wife Sumona Chakravarti, from the popular TV show "Comedy Nights with Kapil", is reportedly dating actor Gaurav Chopra.

The actress has been spotted in Chopra's company attending various events in recent times, leading to the dating rumours. Chopra, who is well known for his portrayal of negative roles and has worked in popular soaps like "Uttaran", was linked with prominent small screen actresses previously as well. 

However, Chakravarti - better known as Mrs Bittu Sharma - refuted the reports, citing the clichéd 'good friends' statement.

"We are just good friends and nothing else. Gaurav is single and even I am so we just love to hang out together. It's always better to attend events and parties together instead of going alone. Gaurav is a very straight forward person and he will not hide such things. He will announce if he gets someone special," the 25-year-old told The Times of India.

Chopra was previously in relationships with Narayani Shastri, Mouni Roy and was also linked to Surveen Chawla.

While Chakravarti and Chopra are projecting the 'friends only' tag at the moment, the duo's real equation would be known in the coming days.

Meanwhile, "CNWK" will have Amitabh Bachchan in its upcoming episode, promoting his film "Bhoothnath Returns". The megastar is set to shoot for the episode on the day which incidentally is host Sharma's 33rd birthday.
