Kapil Sharma and his team of "The Kapil Sharma Show" recently shot an episode with music maestro A R Rahman. While the episode is yet to be aired, according to reports, the music legend has offered Kapil a song.
The report said that Rahman hummed some of his hit songs on the show and also asked Kapil to showcase his singing talent, to which the latter crooned to Punjabi folk song "Heer." Impressed by his voice and talent, the music composer promised to work with the stand-up comedian in an assignment.
"The Mozart of Madras was impressed and promised to work with Kapil on an assignment soon," a source from the sets told Mumbai Mirror. Elated to receive the offer from Rahman, Kapil said: "I love singing and am truly humbled that a maestro like Rahman appreciated my vocal skills. It was very sweet of him to offer me a song."
It should be mentioned that Kapil made his singing debut with his Bollywood debut film "Kis Kisko Pyar Karun." Also, in February this year, he lent his voice to soulful number "Akhiyan De Taare" for the Punjabi film "Love Punjab."
