The first episode of "The Kapil Sharma Show" aired on April 23 on Sony Entertainment Television, and it opened to a live audience in New Delhi's Siri Fort Auditorium. Interestingly, Colors' CEO Raj Nayak wished Kapil Sharma on social media for the launch of the new show.
It had been reported that Kapil and entertainment channel Colors had had a tiff that led to the former's exit from "Comedy Night With Kapil." Surprisingly, Raj Nayak wished the comedian on Twitter and Kapil thanked him back for the wishes.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was on the show promoting "Fan," was the limelight of the first episode of "The Kapil Sharma Show." SRK and Kapil charmed the audience with their witty one-liners and comic timing. The team — Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar — won hearts once again in the new show. Navjot Singh Sidhu, as usual, entertained the audience with his shayari.
"The Kapil Sharma Show" airs on Sony Entertainment Television every Saturday and Sunday, 9 p.m. onwards. Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor are expected to appear on the episode of April 24 to promote their film "Baaghi."
Meanwhile, several celebrities wished and praised Kapil on social media. Take a look at the tweets here:
