Kapil Sharma and his "The Kapil Sharma Show" team had a blast with Govinda, his wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. The veteran actor appeared in the show apparently to promote his upcoming movie "Jagga Jasoos" that features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif.
Govinda happens to be Kapil's apparent rival Krushna Abhishek's uncle and his presence in "The Kapil Sharma Show" is likely to raise some eyebrows.
Govinda apparently had a wonderful time on the sets of "The Kapil Sharma Show" as the actor is seen dancing and singing. He also joined Kapil and his team in cracking some hilarious punch lines.
A Qawwali competition was also organised between Govinda and Sunil Grover's character of Dr. Masoor Gulati. While the next episode of "The Kapil Sharma Show" will have a lot of laughter as usual, Sumona Chakravarty will be seen in a new avatar as she dressed up like a man.
Since the inception of "The Kapil Sharma Show" on Sony Television, many celebrities have appeared on the show to promote their movies. However, Govinda's appearance on the comedy show might not be appreciated by his nephew Krushna, who runs "Comedy Nights Bachao" and "Comedy Nights Live" on Colors TV.
Earlier, singer Mika Singh had landed in trouble after he appeared in Kapil's show. Mika used to be a part of Krushna's "Comedy Nights Live." Soon after his appearance on Kapil's show, the singer was asked to quit Krushna's show.
"I am not hurt or disappointed with their decision. No artiste is bigger than the channel and my absence will not cost them much. I know that the channel is upset and I hope things get resolved soon. But I can only say that it wasn't intentional," the Times of India had quoted Mika as saying after being ousted by the channel.
