Kapil Sharma continues to be the most loved Television character (non-fiction), beating celebrities like Salman Khan and Rannvijay Singh, according to a survey by Ormax Media. In the survey titled "Ormax Characters India Loves" (Ormax CIL), Kapil has come up as the most popular TV personality for the month of April 2016, followed by Rannvijay and Salman.
"Ormax Characters India Loves" is a monthly survey that assesses the popularity of some of the top Hindi TV characters. The result is based on public opinion, taking a sample size of 3,500 across 14 cities in the country.
Kapil has topped the list for his recently launched show "The Kapil Sharma Show." Second in the list is Rannvijay, who currently appears on the small screen as a judge of the reality show "Roadies X4." Although it has been quite long that "Bigg Boss 9" has ended, Salman continues to claim the third slot, being host of the show. Salman is currently in news for his upcoming movie "Sultan," and rumours of his upcoming wedding.
"Crime Patrol" host Anoop Soni has bagged the fourth position, followed by a new entrant Prince Narula, who has recently joined "Roadies X4" as its co-judge. Kapil had claimed the top slot in the list of Ormax CIL in the month of March as well; Rannvijay and Salman's position also remained unchanged.
While Arjun Kapoor was in the fourth position last month for his show "Khatron Ke Khiladi," Anoop has replaced him and Prince has made his entry this month in the list of top five TV characters (non-fiction).
Although "The Kapil Sharma Show" apparently has not garnered as much popularity as his erstwhile show "Comedy Nights with Kapil," the comedian still seems to be very popular and continues to reign the TV world.
