Comedian Kapil Sharma will soon bid adieu to the popular show "Comedy Nights With Kapil", and will reportedly be replaced by Krushna Abhishek. Earlier, the buzz was the show would go off-air, but now it is reported that "Comedy Nights Bachao" host Krushna will take over the show.
The news has surely disappointed Kapil's and his show's fans. Do you think Krushna will create the same magic as Kapil?
As earlier reported, the reason behind Kapil's exit is his conflict with the top brass of Colors channel. His entire "family" of entertainers is leaving "Comedy Nights With Kapil" (CNWK) with him, but Navjot Singh Sidhu will stay on. Kapil said they would quit the show on 17 January.
The report further suggests that the name of the show will be changed to "Comedy Nights" when Krushna starts hosting it.
"Comedy Nights With Kapil" has been one of the most loved comedy shows on television, generating huge TRPs for the channel. Whether Kapil's exit affects the show's popularity will become apparent only after 17 January, when the "CNWK" team says goodbye.
In other news, one of the entertainers of "Comedy Nights With Kapil", Kiku Sharda, has run into legal trouble for mimicking religious leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh on the show. The self-proclaimed godman's followers filed a case against the comedian on 1 January, and the actor was arrested on Wednesday. Several prominent personalities have showed their support for Kiku on social media.
