Kapil Sharma, who received tremendous support from Bollywood after his show "Comedy Night with Kapil" (CNWK) went off air, is all set to entertain viewers with a new comedy show on Sony Entertainment Television.
To maintain curiosity around the new show, Kapil's team member Kiku Sharda and "CNWK" creative director Preeti Simoes have shared some pictures on their Twitter handles, where Kapil and his team members are seen dressed in black suit. "Six black suits for Rs 2000/- .... Whatta deal!!! (sic)" Kiku tweeted.
The buzz is these pictures are from the promo shoot of Kapil's new show.
The images will definitely excite fans of "Comedy Night with Kapil," who are eagerly waiting for Kapil and his team, consisting of Kiku, Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover, Sumona Chakravarti and Chandan Prabhakar, to make a comeback on television and tickle their funny bones again.
Kapil has reportedly invited Shah Rukh Khan as the first celebrity guest on his new show. Shah Rukh will make an appearance to promote his film "Fan."
Meanwhile, there were reports that Kapil is mulling over recreating the popular characters of "CNWK" — Dadi (Ali), Gutthi (Sunil) and Palak (Kiku) — in his new show, as TV channel Colors owns the rights to the original show and its characters.
"The team is taking legal advice to bring back the original characters in avatars that won't amount to a breach of contract with Colors," DNA quoted a source as saying.
In other news, Krushna Abhishek's "Comedy Nights Live," which replaced Kapil's "Comedy Nights with Kapil," has been gradually making its way into the hearts of the audience after receiving a lot of criticism in the opening episode.
