Over the past two years, Kapil Sharma has been going through a lot of bumps, cracks and obstacles in his personal and professional life. Post the infamous mid-air brawl between the ace comedian and his friend Sunil Grover, things haven't fallen in place for Kapil Sharma.
Recently, Kapil was in the midst of a controversy for his abusive rant against journalist Vickey Lalwani for allegedly tarnishing his image. However it looks like, Kapil is planning to make a strong comeback on television with his former colleague Bharti Singh and staunch rival Krushna Abhishek.
"While Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh came on board earlier, the makers have now decided to rope in Kapil, too. The trio will be working together after many years, since they branched out post Comedy Circus. It will be a comedy show, but different from what they have done so far," a source was quoted as saying by Bombay Times.
The reason behind The Kapil Sharma Show and Family Time With Kapil Sharma going off-air was because Kapil had started suffering from anxiety attacks after reading negative news written about him in the media.
Considering his mental condition, makers have reportedly decided to bring Krushna and Bharti on board to share Kapil's burden of running the show.
"They will perform gags and also chat with celeb guests on the show. We don't want to burden Kapil with the responsibility of running a show on his shoulders, yet," the source added.
Krushna, who was seen in The Drama Company, which aired on the same channel as The Kapil Sharma Show, had said that the entire world would watch a show starring himself and Kapil.
"Ek din jab main aur Kapil stage pe khade honge, to woh show duniya dekhne aayegi. (The day Kapil and I come together on the stage, the world will come to watch the show). There is no rivalry between us. I am a big fan of him, I have learnt a lot from him in our show Comedy Circus," Krushna had told Hindustan Times.
It is being said that Kapil will make his comeback on television around the time of Diwali. However, there is no official confirmation from the makers of the upcoming comedy show.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma's recent photos showing the ace comedian gaining some extra pounds has left his fans worried about his health.
