Kanye West is furious with wife Kim Kardashian's security team after the armed robbery at his wife's house in Paris. The 39-year-old rapper reportedly "unleashed hell" on the reality TV star's personal bodyguard, Pascal Duvier after she was robbed at gunpoint on Monday.
According to reports, West grilled Duvier after he landed in New York City with Kardashian. The Famous rapper was "in his [Duvier] face" and wanted to know why he wasn't on his wife's security detail.
A source said, "Kanye unleashed hell on Pascal. He was in his face, grilling him, and was so heated that he almost popped a vein." The insider added that Kardashian had to take her husband away to another room in order to calm him down, according to Hollywood Life.
Duvier was with Kardashian's sisters, Kourtney and Kendall Jenner on the night the armed robbery took place. A source told People that the bodyguard also works for the rest of the family.
Unfortunately, Kardashian didn't have any security on the night she was robbed. Reports suggest that she tried calling her personal bodyguard when she heard footsteps approaching her bedroom but her phone was yanked away and she was dragged out of bed by her ankles.
Murky details from the night of the heist have begun to emerge and many wonder if Duvier's decision to stay away from the reality star was a "dereliction of duty," especially after she was attacked by celebrity prankster, Vitalii Seduik only days earlier.
Michael Jackson's former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, told the Daily Mail, "There should have been at least six guards outside the apartment she was in and security inside and cameras on the door looking out. There should also have been sensor maps in place and they should also have been linked to the police."
Earlier, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star praised Duvier for taking down Seduik. She also tweeted, "My security Pascal Duvier is a G."
However, several questions about celebrities' security have been raised after Kardashian was robbed of $9 million worth of jewellry.
Kardashian is now back in New York City with husband West and her two children, North and Saint.
