Golden Star Ganesh's Wodeyar Chargers has emerged victorious in the second season of Kannada Chalanachitra Cup (KCC) 2. It defeated Rashtrakuta Panthers in a nail-biting match
After winning the toss, Ganesh's team decided to field first. On a batting-friendly pitch, Rashtrakuta Panthers put on a huge total of 122 on board in 10 overs.

However, without showing signs of worry, Wodeyar Chargers chased the target and won the match in the last ball of the game.
The two-day tournament was kick-started on Saturday, 8 September. Six teams like Wodeyar Chargers (Captain Ganesh), Kadamba Lions (Captain: Sudeep), Rashtrakuta Panthers(Captain: Yash), Vijayanagara Patriots(Captain: Shivaraj Kumar), Hoyasala Eagles (Captain: Upendra) and Ganga Warriors (Captain: Puneeth Rajkumar) participated in the tournament.

Golden Star Ganesh-captained Wodeyar Chargers is the first team to enter the finals of Kannada Chalanachitra Cup (KCC) 2. The team emerged victorious in its both the matches on Saturday, 8 September. Rashtrakuta Panthers and Vijayanagara Patriots have won one match each and kept their hopes of entering the last stage of the cricket tournament alive.
In the opening match, Wodeyar Chargers defeated Kiccha Sudeep's Kadamba Lions by five wickets. In the second match of KCC 2, Yash's Rashtrakuta Panthers took on Shivaraj Kumar's Vijayanagara Patriots and the Rocking Star's team won the match by four runs.
The third match was played between Upendra's Hoyasala Eagles and Ganesh's Wodeyar Chargers and the Golden Star's team won the match comfortably by six wickets. In the last match of the day, Puneeth Rajkumar's Ganga Warriors took on Shivaraj Kumar's Vijayanagara Patriots and Shivanna's team emerged victorious.
With Wodeyar Chargers entering the finals, now five teams will fight hard for a place in the last stage of KCC 2.

Yash-lead Rashtrakuta Panthers has defeated Puneeth Rajkumar's Ganga Warriors by 9 wickets. The Power Star's team set the target of 110 runs and the Rocking Star's team crossed the mark in 7.5 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket.
Rashtrakuta Panthers has entered the final and will clash with Wodeyar Chargers.
Kadamba Lions vs Hoyasala Eagles- Match Underway
Kiccha Sudeep's Hoyasala Eagles is batting first. Virender Sehwag gives a good start fo the team.
