The cold war between Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut and actor Sanjay Dutt became clear as the actress missed the music album launch of their upcoming film 'Rascals.'
Those who attended the album launch included Kangana's co-actors Ajay Devagn and Sanjay Dutt and director David Dhawan. The actress's absence at the event caught media attention.
The official line at the music launch was that Kangna couldn't make it because of prior commitments. But the question is - How come she had commitments other than this music release of 'Rascals' which is going to be her biggest film this year?
The buzz is that Sanjay, who is also the co-producer of the movie, put his foot down on inviting Kangna for the event.
Earlier, there was a report that the makers of the movie were considering filing an official complaint against Kangna with the Cine and TV Artists Association for reportedly demanding an additional Rs 10 lakh to complete the dubbing. The producers insisted that she had already been paid the contractual amount of Rs 80 lakh for the project.
'Rascals' co-producer Sanjay Ahluwalia said Kangna had issues with certain members of the cast.
It has been reported that for the first time in her career, the actress dons a two-piece for this movie. She accepted this at the request of director David Dhawan.
The movie is scheduled to be released on October 6.
