Both "Tanu Weds Manu" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns," starring Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan, had impressed critics and fans. Now, "Tanu Weds Manu 3" is likely to be made soon.
Deepak Dobriyal, who played the character of Pappi in the two films, said Aanand L Rai would come up with the third part of the hit franchise. "Everyone is demanding 'Tanu Weds Manu 3.' Let's see when it happens. I would love to be part of it. Right now, Aanand is doing something else. So after that, 'Tanu Weds Manu 3' will happen," Claps n Slaps.com quoted Deepak as saying.
"Tanu Weds Manu" released in 2011 and was highly praised by the critics as well as the audience, going on to become a superhit. And then came "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" in 2015, with Kangana in double roles. The sequel measured up to the expectations and turned out to be a box office superhit as well.
Kangana is currently busy shooting for her upcoming movie "Rangoon," which also features Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, "Rangoon" is a Casablanca-like love triangle set in the backdrop of World War II.
Kangana will reportedly play the role of a 1940s' actress in her next film, while Shahid and Saif will be seen as a soldier and a film-maker, respectively. There are reports that Kangana will have some steamy kissing scenes with both Shahid and Saif in the film. This is the first time Kangana, Shahid and Saif will be seen together onscreen. "Rangoon" will hit the screens Sep. 30.
