Kangana Ranaut reportedly wants to work with Shah Rukh Khan in Anand L Rai's next untitled project, replacing Katrina Kaif.
It has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan will play the role of a dwarf in the upcoming movie, in which the leading actress will essay an actress' character.
Anand L Rai has worked with Kangana in "Tanu Weds Manu Returns". Kangana has been urging him to cast her in the film, replacing Katrina Kaif, who was being considered for the role, reported DNA.
Earlier, there were reports that Salman Khan was the first choice for the lead role of a dwarf in the film, but after he backed off due to time constraints, Shah Rukh replaced Salman for the role.
Apart from Kangana and Katrina, another actress' name was also associated with the project and that is Deepika Padukone. It was reported that Deepika will be sharing screen space with SRK in the film.
While there have been a lot of speculations regarding the cast of Anand L Rai's next film, the director few days ago clarified that he is yet to finalise the cast.
"I am really amused by the rumours, since people seem to know more about my film than I do. I am still working on the script and funnily enough, several have already started speculating about the cast and the title. I request people to stop jumping to conclusions and allow me to make an official announcement on the film, which we will make as soon as we finalise all the details," Pinkvilla quoted the director as saying earlier.
