Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' engagement has been the talk of the town, and now Kangana Ranaut has also reacted to the surprise. She said she is "upset" to know about it.
Kangana is upset not about Priyanka and Nick taking the big step, but for not telling her the good news as she considers PeeCee to be a close friend. Apparently, she was not aware of the development until asked about it.
"Acha? Woh meri bahut achi dost hain, unhone mujhe nahi bataya toh phir main khafaa hun. (Really? She is a close friend of mine, and I am upset now that she didn't tell me about it.)," The Asian Age quoted Kangana as saying at an event when she was asked the two stars' engagement.
Priyanka and Kangana had first worked together in the film Fashion. Both the actresses were highly applauded for their performance in the 2008 movie. Later, they featured together in Krrish 3 in 2013.
The news of Priyanka's engagement created quite a noise in certain quarters. While some fans remained surprised, the makers of Salman Khan starrer Bharat apparently were miffed with the actress for quitting the project due to her marriage plans.
Although Salman's father Salim Khan had said that no one from the team of Bharat is upset at Priyanka's decision, producer of the film had expressed his annoyance terming the actress' act as "unprofessional".
Nonetheless, the makers of the film decided to move forward in searching for a replacement, and latest buzz suggest Katrina Kaif will be roped in as heroine of the film.
