Kangana Ranaut and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen together in one of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming movies. The actress has reportedly confirmed about her teaming up with SRK.
Bollywood Hungama's report said that the "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress herself confirmed the project but refused to reveal details.
The concerned film is in premature stage and the film-maker has approached Kangana for the role of the female lead. Bhansali is apparently keen on casting Kangana and Shah Rukh together for the first time.
There were also reports of the "Dilwale" actor and the director having frequent meetings, suggesting that something big is coming up. Some also thought that SRK might feature as Alauddin Khilji in the movie, "Padmavati."
While Shah Rukh will next be seen in Gauri Shinde's "Dear Zindagi" and then "Raees," Kangana will appear on the big screen for Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon." She is reportedly shooting for two other movies "Rani Laxmibai" and "Simran." SRK too is busy with the shooting of Imtiaz Ali's "The Ring."
Shah Rukh and SLB had earlier worked for "Devdas," but this is the first time that Kangana would team up with the veteran director. Bhansali's last venture, "Bajirao Mastani" became a blockbuster with record-breaking collection and a host of awards.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, "Bajirao Mastani" had clashed with Shah Rukh's "Dilwale" and the former had come up as the clear box office winner.
