National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut, who visited "PK" director Rajkumar Hirani's residence recently, might play Manyata in Sanjay Dutt's biopic, which is Hirani's next directorial.
The "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress was spotted at the director's house and after a long time she left the place with a bound script in her hand, according to Bollywood Life.
After Aamir Khan introduced the two at the "PK" success bash, Kangana and Hirani wanted to meet officially.
Now, rumour has it that the bound script and long discussions between them are regarding Hirani's next film.
Meanwhile, the "Queen" actress will next be seen in "Katti Batti" opposite Imran Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala's "Rangoon" alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
Sanjay Dutt's biopic will be interesting as Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing Dutt on the big screen.
Also, it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan had been rope in to play the "Munnabhai MBBS" star's father Sunil Dutt, according to The Indian Express.
Meanwhile, the shooting of the film will begin once Sanjay Dutt comes out of jail. He is serving his five-year term in Pune's Yerwada Central Jail in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts. Unfortunately, the actor has to celebrate his 56th birthday, which is on 29 July, behind bars.
