Kangana Ranaut, who is currently shooting for filmmaker Hansal Mehta's Simran in the US, met with an accident on October 12. Fortunately, she escaped unhurt with a few bruises.
The incident took place when Kangana and a few team members were returning from the shooting location to their hotel when their driver suddenly felt unwell. "A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move. Everyone was scared at that point. But luckily, none of them got hurt. Kangana had a few minor scratches on her elbows and her forehead that bled a little, but nothing major happened. Similarly, Kangana's team members also suffered a few minor injuries," an insider told Hindustan Times.
Later, the makers insisted that Kangana and the others visit the hospital for checkup to make sure no one suffered from any internal injuries. Being a strong woman that she is, the Queen actress refused to take a break and resumed shooting the next day. "The entire unit is stationed there. So, she didn't want to stall the shoot due to the accident, despite the fact that the makers were ready to take a break," the source added.
Confirming the unfortunate incident, Simran producer Shailesh R Singh told the daily: "It was a narrow escape. It's a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot."
In other news, Kangana has been making headlines for the longest time now for the controversy surrounding her and Hrithik Roshan. The latest report said that the legal battle was still on and Hrithik was preparing to come up with strong evidence against Kangana.
