Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut expressed her support for PM Narendra Modi, and said that he should stay in power at least for the next five years.
Kangana not only spoke in support of Modi, praising his leadership, but also yet again took jibe at nepotism.
"Narendra Modi is the most deserving candidate and rightful leader of a democracy. He is not in this position because of his parents, he has worked hard to be here. Yes, he should come to power next year as five years are not enough to pull a country out of a pit," the actress said according to ANI.
Although she did not take any names while making the remark on the lines of nepotism, it may have been directed at Rahul Gandhi as he is often criticised for the dynastic politics of the Gandhi family.
Kangana has always been a supporter of Modi as she had praised the PM earlier as well. She believes that Modi's journey from being a tea seller to the PM of the largest democracy is remarkable.
"I am a big Modi fan because of his success story. As a young woman, I do believe that we need to have the right role models," she had said earlier.
Kangana is not the only one from the Bollywood brigade, who is ardent supporter of Modi and the BJP government. Celebrities like Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Vivek Agnihotri among some others are very vocal about their belief in the current PM. However, there are some other tinsel celebs like Swara Bhasker, Prakash Raj as well, who often make anti-Modi tweets.
