"Kanchana 2", written and directed by Raghava Lawrence, has received some an overwhelming response from audience in many states, especially in Tamil Nadu. Though the movie does not have big stars, it managed to get a good start in neighbouring state of Kerala too.
Reports are that "Kanchana 2" has been received in Kerala just as any other big star's film. Though the movie is being shown only on 40 screens, which is less than half of its contemporary "OK Kanmani", the theatre occupancy of Raghava's flick was nearly 95 percent in the weekend. With this, industry analysts have stated the movie as a hit in Kerala.

The latest version of "Muni" stars Taapsee Pannu, Kovai Sarala, Jaya Prakash, Pooja Ramachandran, Jangiri Madhumitha, Nithya Menen, and Manobala.
