Raghava Lawrence's "Kanchana 2", which has been minting money in box office, is set to become bigger in the coming weeks. The film saw unprecedented success not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in the neighbouring Karnataka and Kerala.
As per the latest reports, the film is having a great run in Kerala and the reception for the comedy entertainer in the state is said to be equally good as that of big-star movies.
The first weekend (17-19 April) collection of "Kanchana 2" in Kerala is considered to be extra-ordinary as the film has got ₹88 lakh net collection.

Industry trade analyst and tracker Sreedhar Pillai also suggested that the performance of the movie has been too good in the weekends that the theatres in Kerala will have 60 more screens for the next weekend.

Mukesh Ratilal Mehta of E 4 Entertainemnt, one of the leading distributors in Kerala, also said that the movie is doing extremely well in Kerala.

The industry trade analyst sees the success of Tamil movies in Kerala as a positive sign and with the film getting more screens, it is now expected to break records of many hit Tamil movies in the state.
