Kamal Haasan's much-delayed "Vishwaroopam 2" seems to be finally getting ready to see the light of the day. The makers of the movie are reportedly working on the release and the movie is expected to hit the screens during Diwali.
Kamal Haasan had revealed earlier that the movie was almost ready and that the post-production schedule had been completed except for some graphic works. Now, it appears that the team has started working on releasing the movie for Diwali. That means "Vishwaroopam 2" will be clashing with Suriya's upcoming movie "S3" aka "Singam 3."
The makers of "S3" had revealed long ago that the movie would be released during Diwali. The shooting of the movie is happening at a brisk pace. So far, things have gone as per their plans and the movie is most likely to be a Diwali treat for viewers.
"S3," which will have its audio release next month, has been written and directed by Hari. This is the third instalment in the "Singam" franchise, which viewers are eagerly looking forward to since both the earlier films, "Singam" and "Singam 2" were hits at the box office. Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan are in the female lead roles in "S3.".
On the other end, "Vishwaroopam 2" has been written and directed by Kamal Haasan himself. The first instalment of the film was a blockbuster despite being controversial and facing a ban for a couple of weeks from the Tamil Nadu government.
The state government had cited that the release of "Vishwaroopam" would create law and order issues. Hence, it was not allowed to be screened even though it had a successful release in other countries and outside Tamil Nadu. The movie features Kamal Haasan, Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Shekhar Kapur and others in the cast.
