The rumours about Kamal Haasan's much-awaited movie "Uthama Villain" have been confirmed. The makers have decided to postpone the release of the film from 2 April to 10 April. The news was shared by "Uthama Villain's" North American distributor Prime Media.
The distribution company also tweeted that "UthamaVillian" is going to be the biggest release ever for Kamal Haasan.

With the earlier scheduled release date, "Uthama Villain" was supposed to lock horns with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara starrer "Nanbenda". With the new date, the movie is most likely to lock horns with "Kanchana 2'.
"Kanachan2" is one of the most-awaited comedy horror movie of recent times. The movie which was earlier mentioned as "Muni 3 Ganga", is written as well as directed by Lawrence and is the third part of the "Muni series".
The movie has star cast of Taapse Pannu, Kovai Sarala, Devadarshini, Pooja Ramachandran and Jangiri Madhumitha.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan's upcoming movie is one of the most talked about movies of the year. "Ulaganayagan" has donned many a hat for the upcoming movie, including actor, screenplay and dialogue writer, singer, lyricist, and choreographer. He is also one of the producers of the movie.
The music of "Uthama Villain", composed by Ghibran, was released earlier and received some overwhelming response from the audience. "Uthama Villain" became the first movie to release the background score along with the songs.
Directed by Ramesh Arvind, the movie has an impressive star cast of Urvashi, Andreah Jeremiah, K Viswanath, Pooja Kumar, Nasser, Jayaram, MS Bhaskar and Parvathi Menon. Legendary filmmaker K Balachander will make a special appearance in the movie.
