Tamil industry is abuzz with news of Kamal Haasan's upcoming, which was earlier titled "Ore Iravu". Latest reports suggest that makers of the film have now registered it as "Thoonga Vaanam" and the shooting of the film will kickstart soon.
It was announced that "Thoonga Vanam" will have Trisha as the lead heroine, but it is now being said that the movie will feature three heroines to add spice to the narration. Reports are that Kamal Haasan has roped in Manisha Koirala as one of the heroines and the other heroine is said to be a new face.
Manisha has earlier worked with Kamal for iconic Tamil movies like "Indian" (1996) and "Alavavandhan" (2001) but nothing has been revealed about her role in this movie yet. Meanwhile, reports say Trisha will play a character similar to that of a "Bond" girl.
In "Thoonga Vanam", Kamal will be seen as a police officer and the film is touted to be a stylish thriller that will unfold in a single night. Makers had earlier planned to shoot the movie in Mauritius and Kamal had also finalised some locations on the island; but several logistical issues led the team to schedule shooting in India.
As of now, Kamal Haasan in basking on the success of his film "Uttama Villain", which received an overwhelming response from critics and audience. The movie is doing extremely well at box offices across Tamil Nadu and overseas market. Two more movies of Kamal – "Vishwaroopam 2" and "Papanasam" -- are also set for a release soon.
The team of "Papanasam" had released the first look poster of the movie and this has created waves on social media platforms. With a series of releases on the way, Kamal Hassan is set to kick up a storm at the box office.
