Telugu media is abuzz with rumours of Shruti Haasan's wedding and her plans to bid goodbye to the film industry. It is reported that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's daughter would marry her boyfriend in 2019.
Now, the multifaceted actress clarified in her own style. Reacting to the report on a website, Shruti Haasan tweeted, "Really ? that's news to me ! [sic]."
The actress did not have any movie release in the last 12 months and has not taken up any film. She has been busy with her music projects and has collaborated with her beau Michael Corsale, an actor and writer from London.
A few days ago, she had posted an intimate picture with Michael Corsale and captioned it, "We are the gushiest most annoying people we swore we would never become @themichaelcorsale [sic]." Possibly, this triggered the rumours about her marriage.
Shruti Haasan had started her acting career as a child-artiste in her father's film Hey Ram. She turned heroine with Hindi flick Luck and entered South films with Siddharth's Anaganaga O Dheerudu.
Since then, she has worked with most of the stars from Tamil and Telugu films that include Dhanush, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Suriya, Vijay, Ajith and Suriya.
Her next flick is long-delayed multilingual movie Sabaash Naidu.
