Fans of universal hero Kamal Haasan are eagerly waiting to see the trailer of "Vishwaroopam 2", a sequel to this year's blockbuster flick "Vishwaroopam".
Rumours are doing the rounds that Kamal will release the trailer of "Vishwaroopam 2" at the Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF), which kicked-off on Thursday (12 December) in the city. The festival will end on 19 December. It is not clear as to which day the trailer will be launched and there is no official confirmation in this regard.
"Vishwaroopam 2" is one of the most-awaited films of 2014 as the first part was a huge hit. The Kamal starrer is all set to release in February, but there is no official word on the exact release date.
The film's trailer was expected to release during Kamal's birthday on 7 November, but it did not take place. If rumours of the trailer releasing during CIFF turn out to be true, then it will be a real treat for Kamal's fans.
According to the actor, "Vishwaroopam 2" will be bigger and better than its prequel. While the first part had a high dose of action, the sequel will be high on emotional content with a strong mother-son angle.
Most of the cast members including Kamal, Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekar Kapur and Rahul Bose have been part of "Vishwaroopam". Veteran Bollywood actress Waheeda Rahman is a new entrant in the sequel who will play Kamal's mother.
The first part was released with Auro 3D sound in Tamil. However, the makers of "Vishwaoorpam 2" are planning to release the film with Auro 3D sound in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the film are expected to be released simultaneously with the Tamil version.
