The shooting of Kamal Haasan's new film "Uthama Villain" commenced on 3 March in Bangalore.
Film's director and Kamal's close friend Ramesh Aravind has revealed that he shot an interesting sequence with Kamal on the first day of his shoot.
"Uttama Villain shoot started today, finished an interesting sc.as always Kamalji rocked," Aravin tweeted on his micro-blogging site Twitter on Monday.
"Uthama Villain," deemed as a comedy entertainer, is reportedly about an ageing superstar played by Kamal Haasan.
The film has been generating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. Prior to the launch of "Uthama Villain," Kamal visited Bangalore for a make-up trial and had a five-hour long session to finalise his look. The first look poster of the Kamal starrer was released on Friday and created a lot of buzz.
It is being said that the poster design, a colourful mask, is inspired from "Theyyam" - a performing art that is popular in Kerala. A few other posters have also been released to announce the commencement of the film's shooting.
One such poster shows Kamal, apparently, performing on stage and trying to hold a child's hand, while his other hand is on the camera. These posters seem to indicate that Kamal is a performing artist.
