After the successful release of "Uttama Villain", Kamal Haasan is all set for the shooting of his next flick, reportedly titled as "Ore Iravu".
According to sources, Ulaganayagan's next flick will be Tamil-Telugu bilingual, in which the actor will don the role of a police officer.
"Kamal will be seen as a police officer. It'll be a stylish thriller that'll unfold in a single night. The film will go on floors from the second or third week of this month," said a source to IANS.
The upcoming movie is touted to be an action thriller.
Earlier, reports had claimed that the movie will be shot in Mauritius. Kamal Haasan had also posted a video in which he said he was scouting in the island country for his next flick. However, it looks like there is some change of plan, as sources confirm the movie will be shot in India.
"The plan was to shoot in Mauritius. Kamal had also finalized some locations on the island. But due to some logistical issues, the team plans to shoot in India," the source added.
Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Trisha will play the lead opposite Kamal in the movie; her character will reportedly be similar to that of a "Bond" girl.
Prakash Raj has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in the flick. The last time he shared screen space with Kamal Haasan was for the 2006 movie "Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu".
The upcoming movie will be directed by Kamal Haasan's associate Rajesh. Music will be composed by Ghibran, who is the music director of "Uttama Villain" and "Papanasam".
"Ore Iravu" will be produced by Kamal's production house Raj Kamal Films International.
