Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, is ready to come up with his next movie "Deshdrohi 2." The often controversial personality took to Twitter and announced the upcoming sequel to his first Bollywood movie "Deshdrohi."
In his tweet, KRK said that he had approached many actors with the script of "Deshdrohi 2" but none accepted it and thus he has decided to do the film himself. While "Desh Drohi" was released in 2008, in an earlier interview with the Times of India, KRK had said that he would start the sequel in November 2009, but that did not happen.
Although he did not reveal much about the plot of his upcoming movie, KRK hinted on Twitter that he might be seen portraying the character of gangster Abu Salem or JNU student leader Kanhaiya Kumar. He has created a Twitter poll, asking his fans which role he would look good in.
"Deshdrohi," featuring Manoj Tiwari, Gracy Singh, Aman Varma, among others, along with KRK, bombed at the box office as several critics declared it to be one of the worst Bollywood movies ever. The film had triggered a lot of controversy as well as it was alleged that the movie was based on the attacks on North Indians in Maharashtra in 2008.
Although his film failed to impress critics as well as the audience, KRK gained much popularity after his appearance in reality show "Bigg Boss 3." He is known for his controversial tweets on many Bollywood stars. Recently, KRK had a Twitter fight with Sidharth Malhotra after the former allegedly made a derogatory tweet on Alia Bhatt. The tweet was with regards to a photoshoot that the actress had with Sidharth.
