Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, has triggered fresh controversy by accusing filmmaker Vikram Bhatt of trying to "supply Meera Chopra" to a well-known producer. Meera is Priyanka Chopra's cousin and featured in Vikram's horror movie "1920 London."
On the other hand, Vikram has filed a defamation case against KRK for allegedly maligning his and the actress' image. Being quite active on Twitter, KRK posted a number of tweets, revealing about Vikram filing a case against him.
Vikram's lawyer has sent a criminal notice to the controversial actor/critic for allegedly ridiculing his film publicly and reviewing it without any authority. The filmmaker has also accused KRK of making personal attacks on him through his review.
"I had already served a criminal notice on Mr. Kamaal Rashid Khan for and on behalf of Mr Vikram Bhatt and he was required to respond to the same within 7 days. The said 7 days got over yesterday and it is obvious that he does not have any reply or justification for his criminal acts. Instead, he has chosen to blatantly continue his criminal acts showing complete disregard to the laws laid down by the Statute, and even had the audacity to outrage the modesty of my other client Ms Meera Chopra. He ought to realise that by such willful criminal acts he has rendered himself liable to be tried under various provision of Indian Penal Code," SpotboyE quoted Vikram's lawyer Rizwan Siddique as saying.
However, KRK apparently is not bothered about the defamation case as he wrote on Twitter, "Now I will reveal in the court that how Vikram Bhatt tried to supply Meera Chopra to a well known producer by many dirty tricks [sic]." The tweet was apparently deleted later.
